Never downgrade
If your vehicle came with AGM, replace it with AGM. If it came with EFB, use EFB or AGM. A conventional battery is not built for repeated restarts.

Applications
Idle-stop systems restart the engine many times on every trip and run the electrics while it's off. Vehicles with braking energy recovery need AGM, and entry-level systems use EFB. Never downgrade from AGM.
Stop. Start. Repeat.
Every red light is another engine stop and restart, with the electrics running in between. Stop-start systems are hard work for a battery, so the right technology matters.

Many modern vehicles monitor the battery. After replacement, some need the new battery registered so the charging system manages it correctly.
If the system stops shutting the engine at lights, the vehicle may be protecting a tired battery. That is a good time to have it tested.
